The Academic Promotion Department of the Student Union of our college hosted an experience sharing session of excellent students in 2C210 at 18:30 on November 18 to boost our spirit construction, stimulate young students to set ambitious goals, explore the path to success, and strive to become the dream chasers of the new era. Four students, Zhong Zhouyao, Shi Xueru, Zhou Xinyi, and Sheng Xiaoyan, who were admitted to universities for graduate studies and won national awards, were invited to share their study experience.

Zhong Zhouyao, who was successfully admitted to Nanjing University, shared her study experience with the audience. During the presentation, she mentioned three keywords: passion, efficiency, and competition. Zhou Xinyi, who was enrolled in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, offered her experience of studying in the university, focusing on the aspects of “career planning, studying of professional courses, and improvement of soft and hard strength”. During the sharing, Sheng Xiaoyan, a national scholarship winner, shared her study experience of winning the national scholarship with the theme of “Aspirations should be high, not to be disappointed when you are young”. Shi Xueru, who was guaranteed to study at Nanjing University, shared her “study”, “life” and “learning experience” of her undergraduate study with the theme of “meeting a better self”. After the experience sharing, the students on-site also exchanged some issues that they were interested in with the four sharing students. After the meeting, the students learned a lot and expressed that they should clarify their goals and plan for the future so that they can make unremitting efforts to enrich their university life.

The outstanding young students of Foreign Studies School are excellent in character, self-improvement, hard work and creativity, and their growth deeds and struggle experience have set an example for all students! The construction of a good academic style in the college needs the efforts of every student. I hope that through this experience sharing session, students can find a suitable study method for themselves, make a clear plan for their future, study hard and meet a better self in our college.
