On the evening of February 24, 2023, the School of Foreign Languages of Jiangnan University held an overseas study seminar for Tokyo University of Economics in the form of online communication. This exchange activity was hosted by Professor Zhang Peng, Dean of Japanese Department, and the speaker was Luo Huanzhen, professor of Tokyo University of Economics. Professor Luo explained the requirements for graduate study in Tokyo University of Economics and expressed his warm welcome to the students to pursue graduate study in Tokyo University of Economics.

Professor Luo first explained the reasons for choosing Tokyo University of Economics from various aspects. And illustrated the school's beautiful campus environment, strong faculty, a long history and culture and the philosophy of keeping pace with The Times. Starting from the graduate training practice of the university, the author introduced to the participating teachers and students the specific methods that the university attaches importance to thinking training, cultivates students' scientific thinking, and actively guides students to independently discover, analyze and solve problems.

After Professor Luo's speech, Professor Zhang Peng of our school made a summary of the seminar and encouraged Japanese students to actively participate in various forms of international exchange activities. In the question-asking session, the students had an in-depth exchange with Professor Luo on the selection of major subjects they were interested in, the procedures for studying abroad and so on. They not only gained professional knowledge, but also broadened their international vision and helped to further clarify their future learning goals.

This exchange activity is an important part of the series of activities of the School of Foreign Languages to promote college students' employment and further study. The Department of Japanese Language will also invite professors from Japanese universities to give online lectures, and invite famous alumni to give speeches and other forms to provide more convenience for students' study, study and employment.
