Celebrate the opening of the 20thPeople’s Congress and firm our dedication on future journey. On the afternoon of October 5th, the Scholl of Foreign Studies successfully held the report meeting of summer social practice in 2022 through Tencent Meeting. Deputy Secretary of the sub-committee of school communist youth league, Lu Fang, instructors Gu Haixing and Miao Wenjian have hosted the meeting with the bureau of Student Union and every student from the first and second grade in the college.
The theme of the meeting is “To Pay Tribute to the 20thPeople’s Congress and report the gain after social practice”. During the meeting, the fruit of practice and the realization of 12 key teams have been displayed. Their diligent work about red culture promotion, voluntary projects, rural revitalization and livelihood research has been introduced within five minutes by each team, which illustrated the vigor of our students.
To Shoulder the responsibility to crack down on people’s concern with volunteerism. “Jiangnan spring breeze blows into every family” team developed featured lessons, such as: interesting knowledge, physical exercise and the history of Communist Party of China and Chinese communist youth league, for the children of frontliner against Covid-19 to relieve their burden. To visit red culture publicity base and promote red spirit through theoretical speech. "Visit to Wenzhou and Wuxi” team visited the red culture education base in Wuxi and Wenzhou and voiced Chinese voice through bilingual vlog, thus promoted and renewed red culture. To research into current livelihood and try one’s best to boost social development. “The tale of Jiangnan” team intended to promote the national common language and preserve the mandarin culture, thus to shoulder the mission of our era and help rural revitalization.
Miss Lu summarized this meeting. She highly recognized the excellence of each team and listed three suggestions: to highlight the realization of growth, the details of process and the summary of results. Meanwhile, she advised the first-year student to learn from those examples and hopefully organize better activities in the next year.
To pay tribute to the 20thPeople’s Congress and report the gain after the social practice. The report meeting demonstrated the fruitful work of the students’ social practice in summer and their sense of responsibility and obligation. Next, we shall make summary in time, develop a new form and launch broad publicity. The students will be further educated in the class of society to acquire more knowledge and make contribution, thus to celebrate the opening of 20thPeople’s Congress.
