On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the School of Foreign Languages organized the activity of “Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival, Gathering in the School of Foreign Languages”. Liu Boxian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, counselors and class teachers visited students’ dormitories and sent moon cakes prepared by the College to students. The College Student Union organized fun activities to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival for the 2022 freshmen, which has been carried out in the college hall and the playground in succession.
The leader and teachers of the college talked with the freshmen during their visit to the dormitories, which asked them in detail about their family situation, their feelings of entering the school, and their adaptation to the new school and environment. Freshmen also communicated with the teachers about their concerns. After that, Liu Boxian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, expressed the hope that the students would adapt to college life as soon as possible, set goals, make plans, reasonably arrange personal time, make a personal health daily and timely participate in the campus nucleic acid test according to the requirements of the school epidemic prevention and control. And he also told that if the freshmen have any difficulties, they can react to the head teacher and counselor, and solve them together. As the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, the college prepared moon cakes, which were presented to the 2022 freshmen by the head teacher during their visit to the dormitories so that everyone could feel the warmth of the college.
The fun activities for the Mid-Autumn Festival were divided into two parts: fun games and grass singing. In the fun game, everyone not only had fun, but also made new friends. The activity site was filled with laughter. In the “Wishing Message” activity, everyone wrote down their wishes and blessings on the note, so that Acacia and the bright moon could accompany each other, and dreams could take root in the School of Foreign Languages. The Wishing Wall carries the students’ expectation of themselves and their yearning for the future, so every blessing is worthy of being cherished and protected. The Grassland Music Festival called “The sea of songs reflects the moon bright, and one song makes Acacia relief” was held in the Northwest playground.
This Music Festival will be divided into three chapters: full moon to relieve nostalgia, full moon to fill feelings, full moon to realize dreams. The singers sang beautiful melodies with their soft singing, which convey warmth and send comfort to the students in a strange land by moonlight.
Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, and gather in the School of Foreign Languages. Through dormitory visits and fun activities, the students and teachers had more opportunities to communicate with each other face to face. At the same time, this Mid-Autumn activity made students feel the warm care of the School of Foreign Languages, and shortened the distance between teachers and students. The new semester has a new look. We wish you all start your wonderful university life in the School of Foreign Languages.
