In order to solidly promote the employment of graduates and to effectively improve the quality of graduates employment, on the afternoon of November 11, the School of Foreign Studies held the 2022 promotion meeting for the employment of master graduates in conference room A115 of faculty building. The meeting was presided over by Lu Fang, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the college, and all master graduates of 2022 attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mrs Lu Fang analyzed the employment situation under the background of normalized epidemic prevention and control in combination with multiple actual cases and specific employment data. Mrs Lu stressed that the current employment situation is severe and complex. Facing the new situation and challenges, students should plan, prepare and act as soon as possible.
Then, from aspects of the employment policy, employment path, resume, interview preparation, signing process and so on, Mrs Lu introduced and explained the service function of smart employment platform, recruitment mode of employers, common job search channels, principles and skills of resume writing, characteristics and etiquette of recruitment interview, the relevant knowledge of the employment agreement and the main matters of employment dispatch. These are of great value, so as to ensure the stability , time and quality of graduates employment.
Finally, in combination with the current employment situation, Mrs Lu put forward several requirements for all 2022 master graduates: we should objectively view the employment situation and job-hunting environment, reasonably adjust employment expectations, prepare for employment in advance, and obtain high-quality employment through multiple channels; We should take positive action to meet new challenges, seize new opportunities, pay close attention to employment information, actively contact employers, prepare resumes and take the initiative to deliver them; We should learn to alleviate pressure, maintain a confident, optimistic and peaceful attitude, go all out to prepare, practice over time, spare no effort to strive and practically spend for our goals; We should improve security awareness to prevent traps in job hunting , and pay attention to the protection of personal information and property security.
This employment promotion meeting has further improved the understanding of graduates towards employment, helped them establish a correct concept of employment to find their own position later and also enabled them to recognize their professional strengths, make career plans, and take the first step out of the school with a more solid and steady pace.
