On November 2, 2021, the Military Training Singing Contest was held for 2021 freshmen in the Sports Center of Jiangnan University. The contest was themed with "Please rest assured the Party, we fight for the powerful country" to celebrate the centennial birthday of the Communist Party of China.

Sixteen schools took to the stage in turn to sing songs such as the school song of Jiangnan University, "Stay True to Our Original Aspiration", "Towards Rejuvenation", "Homeland Will Never Forget", "Yellow River Cantata" and "When Coming That Day ".

There were various dancing performances in each school. Students wore traditional costumes and dance in a soft and graceful way, with strength inside, symbolizing the unfailing Chinese nation. Jiangnan students postured with high-spirit, full of expression, sonorous and powerful singing, highlighting the young people's infinite vitality.

There are altogether 179 students in the School of Foreign Studies, and 48 of them were selected. Even though there are only 20 male students in our school, all of them took part in the singing competition with a strong sense of group honor. Every student has made great efforts and finally won the fourth place among all schools.

As new youth, we should not only aim high, but also come to the earth and insist innovation. We should shoulder the historic responsibility of bringing about a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, living up to the Party, the motherland and the youth.
