Recently, our school’s freshmen ofgrade2021 have carried out their military training in the northwest playground. During this period,the Academic Promotion Department, the Sports Department and the Art Group of the School of Foreign Languages have organized an activity of blackboard newspaper painting to inspire the studies. Students who had participated in the blackboard newspaper painting completed their paintings in the Sports Center, which were later exhibited in the training ground. So far, the Institute of Foreign Languages has finished two times of blackboard newspaper publicity.

The theme of these paintings focused on the students' military training life, which mainly demonstrated students' heroic bearing in the military training and self-disciplined life of their drill sergeants. In addition, some revolutionary history and incentive words for the hard military training life were also included. Look at these paintings, you will find simply outlined students in the military uniforms, the Tiananmen painted with pigment and the Five-Starred Red Flag.

This activity was aimed at bringing warmth and color to the students’ boring training life as well as encouraging them to accomplish their military training trip with full spirit when they saw those inspiring words. We hope that through this military training, students’ great ambition of loving and serving the motherland can be cultivated.

All in all, the blackboard newspaper activity carried out by the School of Foreign Studies effectively ignited the students' enthusiasm for military training, added new content to their training life, and inspired them to hone their relentless will. Later, the School of Foreign Studies will continue to carry out more blackboard newspaper activities during military training, bringing more highlights in the military training.
