On October 23, 2021, the 2021 Academic Innovation Forum for Foreign Language and Literature Graduates in Jiangsu Province and the 16th Academic Forum for Foreign Language Majors in Jiangsu Universities were held in Southeast University. This forum is sponsored by jiangsu Provincial Literature Graduate Education Steering Committee, Jiangsu Provincial Association of Foreign Language Teaching and Research in Colleges and Universities, and the Organizing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial College Foreign Language Graduate Academic Forum, and founded by school of Foreign Languages of Southeast University. The forum adopted extra-curricular practices and online speeches. Nearly 200 postgraduate students and teachers from more than 20 graduate training institutions in The province participated in the academic exchange conference. Meanwhile, some experts participated online due to the epidemic prevention and control. Four masters from our college, namely cao, Peng Dan, Yuan Yongxue and Zhang Menglan, participated in this forum under the leadership of Professor Yan Minfen.

On the morning of October 23, the opening ceremony of the forum was held in the lecture hall on the fourth floor north of the Library of School of Foreign Languages, Southeast University. Professor Chen Meihua, dean of the School of Foreign Languages of Southeast University, Professor Wang Tsunami-vice President of foreign Language Teaching graduate students of Jiangsu Province, and Professor Chen Xinren, chairman of the organizing committee of Jiangsu Graduate Academic Forum gave speeches successively. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Liu Kehua of the School of Foreign Languages of Southeast University. Then, Shi Zhiqin chang-lai Chen of Shanghai normal university, professor of tsinghua university professor, professor XiangMingYou foreign economic and trade university, nanjing university of aeronautics and astronautics professor xiang-tao fan and southeast university professor WeiQingQi respectively outside the han contrast method, big change in one hundred and high quality conversation area along the way, the scientific research method, translation research and paper writing, ecological feminist themes, such as expert lectures, The lectures cover linguistics, literature, translation and social and cultural studies, and are based on a global perspective, providing excellent academic exchange, teaching and research inspiration for the participating teachers and graduate students.

In the afternoon, four graduate students from the School of Foreign Languages cao and Peng Dan made speeches in the Translation forum and literature forum, Yuan Yongxue and Zhang Menglan respectively made speeches in the linguistics forum and shared their research achievements, and Professor Yan Minfen was invited as the comment teacher to make wonderful comments on the Language, culture and society forum. Subsequently, Professor Cheng Si of Southeast University presided over the closing ceremony of the forum. At the closing ceremony, Professor Lu Danyun of NATIONAL University of Defense Technology made a summary of the forum, and then the award ceremony was held. Yuan Yongxue of our college won the third prize of academic paper selection, cao and Zhang Menglan won the winning prize, which won the honor for the college. In the end, Professor Yuan Zhoumin, dean of School of Foreign Languages, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the organizer of the 17th Forum, made a speech and expressed expectations for the next forum.

The Academic Forum for foreign Language majors in Jiangsu Province is an important platform to promote academic exchanges, broaden academic horizons and get close contact with academic talents. Our school actively encourages graduate students to participate in such forums to improve innovative research ability and cultivate innovative talents. This BBS has not only provides the academic arena, for everyone is through the paper to share to other colleges and universities graduate students and experts showed the excellent performance of the students in our college, at the same time, experts and professors attending expert review of graduate students to realize their own research is insufficient, help to improve in the future study and research.
