Course Description:

This is an intensive practical course for sophomores, juniors and seniors majoring in English, which takes place from the fourth to seventh semester, requiring one week’s practice for each session. The course aims to offer an opportunity for English majors to promote various aspects such as English-Chinese and Chinese-English interpretation and translation skills, show verbal English communication abilities, cross-cultural communication knowledge as well as public diplomacy skills etc. The course relies on support from both the university and various enterprises in society to encourage students to do undertake a wide range of interpretation and translation practice both on and off campus.
